
Ted Duckworth

Founding partner and principal of Concord Companies, Ted has been active in commercial real estate for over 35 years. His stewardship began with the founding of Duckworth Realty in 1989 as a brokerage and property management firm that grew into development and acquisitions. Notable projects include the $17m historic restoration of the Electric 308 Building and co- development of The District at Eastover $130m mixed use development in Jackson. He has worked in acquisitions of office and retail projects around the southeast including Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Knoxville and Pensacola.
His experience at Concord Companies encompasses joint venture partnerships, acquisitions and development, and asset management of commercial real estate holdings. As a partner he oversees strategic planning and management operations as well as seeking new project developments. He has a business degree in real estate finance from Mississippi State University.
Ted is a recognized leader of economic development in Metro-Jackson. He has served as Chairman of Downtown Jackson Partners, board member of the Greater Jackson Chamber, MS Heritage Trust and Eastover Neighborhood Foundation, and as a Commissioner Municipal Sales Tax Commission.
